The Trio
Three16 was formed in 2004 at First Baptist Church of Plantation, Florida, when three of the church’s soloists felt led to sing together. Originally known simply as The FBC Trio, group members Victor Singh Jr., Shirall Gipson, and Connie Blosch began sharing presentations periodically within their home church. As time progressed it became clear that God had placed them together for a greater purpose. So, these three friends with very different backgrounds and musical styles joined together to form a trio. They combine gospel, contemporary, and soul sounds to share their love of God and the love He showed us through the gift of His Son, Jesus.
Early in 2006 Connie asked an acquaintance of theirs from another Christian recording group for information about recording, and within one month the group had signed a contract with the Eddie Crook Company in Nashville, Tennessee to record their debut album, which was recently released.
Victor serves at First Baptist Church of Plantation as worship leader. Victor has been singing for many years and enjoys leading the congregation each week in sharing praises to God. He has been a part of First Baptist Church since 2000 and has shared his talent for God’s glory in many ways throughout the community as both a soloist and as a part of the church’s choir. Victor came to Florida from Boston, Massachusetts in 1991. He is currently single and shares a home with his parents.
Shirall has been a soloist and choir member at First Baptist Church since she moved to Florida from Dillon, South Carolina in March 1999. Shirall works as a payroll accountant in Miami, Florida. She shares a home with her husband, Mack, and their four children in Boca Raton.
Connie is the wife of the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Plantation and also manages Three16. Like the others in the group, Connie has been a soloist for the church since becoming a member in 2003. She works alongside her husband, Dr. William Blosch, as the church ministry assistant. They live in Plantation with their two sons.
The group has been blessed with encouragement from family and friends throughout their time singing together.
